2.3. Video Machine

Step Three. From a console or terminal window on your video machine, type: vrm-eventlistener . (Please note: if you have used Gary Refka's document, "Building an Access Grid Node," you can simply use the vrm launcher on your Video machine's desktop to start this application, rather than running the command manually.) After using either the command line or the launcher, a window will open which looks something like this:

Please note that you should see a pulsing dot next to "Heartbeat", and a solid dot next to "Connected".
