There are a number of things that I do the first time I log into a new install of Fedora 7.

These include:

Using KDE as the default Session

• This can be done by clicking on the "Options" and selecting the "Select Sessions..." option and changing to KDE before logging into the system. (Of course this is a personal preference)

Updating the install

• Once installed, it is recommended to update the machine before proceeding with installing other software, including the AG software.

This process is detailed in the next section.
